Living in Southern California since 1954, Dr. Churukian serves as a Medical Director at the Camden Surgery Center. He graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California, then with honors from U.S.C. School of Medicine. He began his post-graduate training at the L.A. County - U.S.C. Medical Center in Neurosurgery then to the University of Hawaii Integrated Surgical Program for training in General Surgery. He returned to L.A. County - U.S.C. to complete a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and received board certification in the upper 10% in 1980, then went on to complete a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Co constructive Surgery in 1981.

Dr. Churukian served as Assistant Medical Director at the Lasky Clinic from 1982 until 1993 when he became a founding member of the Camden Aesthetic Associates.
