Pattie Eisinger's Fourth Grade Classroom's Kinetic Mobile
Item Number: 2101
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
The fourth graders in room 1 have invented their own Universe! Based on a solar system theme, each child has been asked to decorate one of the wind catcher cones as a celestial phenomenon. They created their own versions of comets, new planets, black holes etc. all rotating around a unique sun. The sculpture is designed for out-of-doors and requires minimal maintenance, featuring stainless steel axial componenets and sealed bearings, marine alloy materials and enamel on many of the catchers, which are sealed with a special lacquer. The glass finishes are high tempered to withstand seasonal variations in temperature.
The sculpture is being created with the assistance of award winning sculptor and classroom parent Susan Pascal Beran, and promises to be a one-of-a-kind creation! Valued at $7,500 per gallery and retail price lists. Additional information available on request.
