Here are a few points about us to let you know just what the hell you could be getting yourself into. 
 
We basically play a 45 min or so set (can do more if necessary) and are a comedy singing group who play for special events.  We play conventions, wineries, corporate training events, cocktail and various types of parties etc, and we have performed in variety shows, radio spots, videos and played on street corners.  We play to audiences with kids too (if necessary-hehe).  We have played up to about 2,000 people (millions if you count our bits on satellite radio) and charged in the thousands for our shows..................but we have been known to play for martinis.   So........... I guess we fall in the "priceless" category? Ooooooohhhhh  that sounds nice.  Anyhooooo.  This is our first real auction experience and so we will try and put some value on it for you.  You could say that its a $1500 value (the price of our last gig) if you think that would give you some kind of number to shoot for. It's hard to say.............. its a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we would certainly set any kind of event on its ear.  It's probably good for us to point out that we are not a "dance" band or do the "background music" thing very well as its pretty hard to keep us in the background - however, we can play a million songs and so............ if it turned into a singalong, which has been known to happen.......... then.............. what the hell!   Let's raise some cash for our kids, yes?    GO YES!!!
 
Who are The Hearts of Romaine? 
 
Who knows for sure?  It’s pretty hard to put your finger on it!    (not that you would want to).   
 
They have been described as a combination of "The Smothers Brothers meet The Marx Brothers or maybe the Three Stooges" because of their funny tunes and on-stage antics.  The Hearts of Romaine play to small and large audiences and are the social lubricant necessary to get people out of their shells. 
 
You will be laughing at yourself and others.  A session with The Hearts of Romaine will make you feel better about yourself than if you had been hanging out with Tony Robbins, Oprah and Dr. Phil all at the same time.
