Spend Sunday, May 3rd enjoying "Choral Fireworks" featuring the VYO Chorus and conductor Troy Peters. This afternoon performance is the perfect spring activity for your family.

This program begins with the world premiere of a commissioned work by Troy Peters, which the VYO will take on their tour to France in July '09. The VYO Chorus makes a dazzling debut as part of the VYO concert season in a collaboration that features over 160 student instrumentalists and vocalists performing works by Fauré and Brahms on the Flynn MainStage. The program closes with the fiery Carmen Suite by Bizet and Gershwin’s An American in Paris, his musical nod to Paris in the twenties.
