Enroll your child in this incredible-and fun-discipline!

Children's classes (for ages 7-12) meet Wednesdays 4-5PM and Saturdays from 9:30-10:30AM. Aikido now has an intermediate children's class on Thursdays, 4-5PM for more advanced children and teens (ages 12-17). The Aikido center is located on Pine Street, directly across from Recyle North.

Families are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the dojo community. They have a large play space for non-practicing children and their parents.

A typical children's class integrates warm-ups, basic techniques and Aikido games. Students learn how to roll and fall safely; Aikido related games teach coordination, flexibility, strength and teamwork. Older children learn verbal conflict resolution, street awareness and self-defense.
