A handmade, crocheted beaded rope necklace. Repeating rows of light and dark aubergine (eggplant) and plum, clear and solid beads spiral the length of the necklace. Size 6/0 round, 6/0 cylindrical and 3x3 cube beads. 26 inches long. Silver heart-shaped, lobster claw style clasp. In the crocheted beaded rope technique a pattern is designed and all the beads are strung ahead of time. The pattern emerges as the necklace is crocheted. Made by a Sacramento artist.
