This original oil on canvas comes from award winning Hawaiian artist Robert Suzuki and depicts the fire pit of a volcano.

Artist Robert Suzuki:

A graduate of the University of Hawaii in Hilo and Marylhurst University in Oregon, Robert lives and paints on the island of Maui.  His unique palette and a simple and balanced approach to composition help define the mood of his paintings.  "The goal for me as a painter is to interpret the sensation of space and time.  It is not enough to just copy what I see before me."
