In 1960 the young Christenson family sailed across the South Pacific - a 2 1/2- year voyage through the remote islands of old Polynesia. Anchoring beside tiny villages, they lived with Polynesians, learning their way of preparing fish. Their voyage ended on Maui, and in 1973 they opened their beach house as Maui's first fresh fish restaurant. Dine with us in our beach house - a memory of old Polynesia on Maui's North Shore.
