You and/or your child (and up to three of his/her friends) will spend an afternoon with Roanoke City Fire Department Lieutenant and North Cross School parent Jamey Brads. Your junior firefighter will eat a meal, go to training, ride on the fire truck, participate in a question and answer session and yes, they’ll even get to ride-along in a fire truck if any calls come while your child is “on duty.” It is important to note; however, that for safety reasons your child must remain in the fire truck at the scene.
