Have a super week this summer at Stone Bridge Farm's Horseback Riding Day Camp. Located 30 miles north of Roanoke in Natural Bridge, Stone Bridge Farm is one of the premier equestrian centers in Southwest Virginia. The Day Camp includes two 90 minute riding lessons in small groups each day, with the option of trail rides as well. Groups are formed according to riding ability, with advanced, intermediate, and beginner groups available. The camp runs from Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and also includes grooming and tacking up horses, and two hours of hands-on horsemanship instruction. There will be demonstrations from a Blacksmith and a Vet, where campers can watch, learn, and ask questions, as well as daily crafts and games. This week of fun concludes with an in-house horse show, with one-on-one critique and feedback from a professional judge. Choose from one of three sessions: June 22 - 26, July 20 - 24, or July 27 - 31.
