Imagine sitting in your dining room and seeing the sea turtles and tropical fish swim and surf the waves beneath your feet! You and 7 of your closest friends or family must visit this unique oceanfront home perched on the cliffs in the Napili section of the Hawaiian Island of Maui.
Our peaceful home, The Jade House, is the perfect refuge from the stress of your daily life and a place to relax fully and completely. All you will hear is the sound of the waves. You'll bask in the sun and return with a spectacular tan.
The Jade House is located on a peninsula within a gated community, and has spectacular views of Molokai from its dining room and crow's nest. Enjoy three bedrooms--the master bedroom with a king-sized bed, two more bedrooms with queen-sized beds, along with a loft area with three single beds. There is one en suite master bathroom, one full bathroom, and one shared bathroom.
The house is in a beautiful part of Maui, itself one of the most beautiful of the Hawaiian Islands. We love the fact that it is perched on the windward side of a bay which is the home and breeding ground of the large sea turtles, an endangered species in Maui; therefore almost any time of day, you can sit in the living room and look out at as many as five sea turtles swimming there, while a few snorklers paddle around, usually looking for turtles who are just behind them.
Snorkeling is also marvelous here, obviously, and everyone who swims will enjoy seeing a variety of tropical fish and other sealife in the bay just off our cliff. You enter the water from a little beach in a cove visible from the house, 250 yards away. The nearby sandy beach is one third of a mile away. Great restaurants are also in walking distance, and a local fish store sells fresh-caught island fish, the best you'll ever taste.
