Laser whitening is an in-office bleaching system that utilizes a laser and whitening gel.  Translucent bleaching gel is applied to the teeth, then a laser light activates the bleaching crystals to absorb energy from the light and penetrate tooth enamel to increase the lightening effect.  The length of the procedure depends on the degree of discoloration in the teeth.
