Special Instructions
A love for animals began for Jim Cocallas when he started walking dogs for neighbors at the age of seven. He grew up to marry Doris, who made grooming dogs a special part of her life. Together, they started Carriage Hill Kennels where Jim trained and boarded dogs. Doris groomed dogs; and their children, Chris and Francine, made pocket change by doing various kennel chores.
Now, Chris and Francine are in charge of all boarding and grooming facilities, following in their parents' footsteps. Both have children of their own and hope that one or more of them will stay in the business, continuing the Cocallas traditions of treating their dog and cat visitors as part of a loving family.
