Description

Eek Oh is a statement about our environment. Our mission is to develop original American art work into quality everyday objects that we all use and wear.

The art represents our diversity as a country by showcasing artists from all walks of life, different regions of the country and different ethnic backgrounds.

All the images are screened with water-based French dyes from Japan onto certified organic 10-ounce canvas. The trim and handles are the same organic canvas. The lining is lavender twill cotton. Our goal is to be as green as possible in our use of fabrics, packaging and our work environment.

Our art is beautiful. We want people to smile. We want to make people feel good. We want art that touches people on some emotional level. Our art is about light, life, color, family, and the environment.

The Poppy Tote features an image by Kiara Sausedo. Sausedo was born and raised in Hawaii, surrounded by lush tropical landscapes and exotic plant life. She continues to draw inspiration from the natural environment and often returns to imagery directly related to her childhood surroundings. When Kiara first began printing her designs on fabric she focused on keeping her materials as natural as possible, using organically grown fibers and nontoxic pigments. She continues to develop eco-friendly designs on a freelance basis, while working full-time as a textile designer designing silk scarves that can be found in major department stores throughout the country.

The Poppy Tote has silkscreened front and back panels and measures 12" wide x 10" high x 6" deep. It has a magnetic snap closure, three interior silkscreened pockets, 2 pen holders, and 1 key fob, with protective feet on the bottom panel.
