Description
The 2003 is undoubtedly something to be treasured. It's a hot vintage, to be sure - and as rich, ripe and concentrated as red wine (especially from Tuscany) ever gets. The 2001, despite its great richness, shows a good deal of both structure and restraint. The 2003 - MUCH darker, and much richer still - just explodes out of the glass.
