Description

98 points from the Australian website WineSpider.com! From 70-year-old vines (some of the oldest cabernet vines in Australia), which came from cuttings of pre-phylloxera Lafite. Winemaker Roman Bratusiak regards this as his Ducru-Beaucaillou.  The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Brookmans Vineyard is a dense, chewy, full-bodied effort revealing plenty of cassis, a multi-layered texture, and moderately high tannin in the finish.
