This backstage tour package offers a look at what goes on behind the scenes at the Guthrie Theater. You'll discover the stunning and expanded features of the Guthrie's state-of-the-art facility and learn how they take their plays from script to stage, including the many intriguing steps in between. On the tour, you'll visit our various production departments, including the shops where costumes, sets and props are expertly crafted by talented artisans.

The 45-minute backstage tours are scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. as well as after selected weekend matinees. Tours are normally offered Friday through Monday mornings, subject to performance schedules. Space is limited for each tour and reservations are recommended.
