Many fine Epimedium hybrids are being produced in Japan.  This one has clear soft pink flowers in early spring.  Flowers are strongly cross-shaped and held above the leaves.  Epimediums are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, is highly drought tolerant. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters.  Unlike Epimediums available in garden centers these came from Japan not Holland and are not infected with Tobacco Rattle Virus.
