"FIRST KISS" is a painting of my beloved mare, Drifting Dune and her newborn foal Molly. No mistaking that first nicker between a mom and her baby! 

Hi! My name is Nancy Archerd. I am a classically trained oil painter living in southern Oregon. I have a farm, horses, dogs, cats and have supported animal rescue for over thirty years.

I have studied with Richard McKinley, Albert Handell, Roberta Remy, Anita Louise West and Bob Rohm among others. I am an award winning artist and my paintings are in collections all across the U.S.

I admire the work of Sir Alfred Munnings, Frank Weston Benson, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, and most of the California Plein Air Society.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF: FIRST KISS" is an 8 1/2" x 11" print of the original oil painting. It is printed on Vellum Astroparche 65 lb. Cover grade paper (30% post consumer) using a Xerox Phaser 7760 commercial printer with Raster Image Processing for color management.

This print will fit into a standard Certificate Frame and is enclosed in a plastic envelope with a white board back.
