Description

Four tour admissions to Gamble House, as well as one copy of Greene & Greene book by Edward R. Bosley with photographs by Mark Fiennes, the well-known british photographer.

The Gamble House, constructed in 1908, is the internationally recognized architectural masterpiece of the turn-of-the-century Arts and Crafts movement in America. Built for David and Mary Gamble of the Proctor and Gamble Company, the house is the best preserved and most complete example of the work of architects Charles and Henry Greene, and is the only Greene and Greene building open to the public on a regular basis. The House is a stately version of bungalow architecture complete with original furniture designed especially for the house by the Greene brothers.

The book "The Gamble House: Greene and Greene" by Edward R. Bosley, is a monograph of the brothers' Charles and Henry Greene's careers as they developed jointly and then separately. The book is illustrated with color photography by Mark Fiennes, well-known British photographer, and draws on a wealth of previously unpublished data and archival materials.
