Item Number: 179
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Spend an afternoon on a personalized private tour for four (4) guests of the Woodrow Wilson House led by its Executive Director, Mr. Frank Aucella, and enjoy an English-style tea. Woodrow Wilson House is a National Trust historic site.
Woodrow Wilson House is the 28th US President's last home and the only presidential museum in Washington, DC -- a National Historic Landmark and self-sustaining property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Wilson House holds an extensive and authentic collection of over 8,000 objects from Wilson's two terms in the White House, as well as his earlier years as President of Princeton University. His travels as a world statesman and his establishment of the League of Nations (for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize) are documented in photographs, objects and unique Gifts of State.
Built in 1915 by architect Waddy Wood, the house is a fine example of the Georgian revival style. After purchasing the property in 1921, Wilson and his wife Edith remodeled it to suit their needs. The structure and its interior have been carefully preserved to reflect the era of their residence here.
