Enjoy this basket full of treats from the Salman Raspberry Ranch in northern New Mexico. The basket includes a variety of raspberry jams, syrups, and dressings from the Salman Raspberry Ranch. Also included is a product from a local new business sponsored by Accion New Mexico.

The Salman Ranch has been growing raspberries since 1982, and opened its fields to the public in 1993. With the arrival of early August and the beginning of Indian Summer, Salman Ranch workers begin to ready the raspberry fields for the harvest of the succulent, sweet berries for which this farm has become famous throughout the southwest.

The berry harvest, which lasts from early August until the first killing frost (usually by the middle to the end of October), produces hundreds of flats of fresh, hand-picked berries, which are sold at the Salman Ranch Store. Thousands more pounds of berries are picked by visitors to the U pick it Field.
