FROM VIRGINIA (the mother):
Aqui allows me to express two of my lifelong passions - creating beautiful spaces and finding treasures - both of which are more fun when with others. Yes, it may all have started with the finding of that first special friend down the street at age 4 or that perfect collection of box turtles on an afternoon walk in the stream!!!! Now I can fill the shop with wearable treasures, AND create a shopping environment that is aesthetically pleasing, relaxed and friendly. At Aqui you can expect to enjoy the brousing experience and discover that unique gift or special something for yourself guaranteed to brighten your day. This could be the perfect gift for the new grandchild or teen who never knew you were so hip, a unique man's accessory (NOT the usual tie or socks) or just the thing to complement a special woman's look.

FROM AMANDA (the daughter):
Being a mother of three beautiful and energetic young boys, I have fought to maintain my own style. Moms don't have to carry little pink diaper bags or dress their infants, children or teens in the same brand name label outfits that every other child on the block is wearing. I am inspiried to be a part of the space where you can walk in even with your spirited toddler and feel welcome. Where you will find a hip infant outfit, a fantastic tee your child will want to wear, a great shirt for your husband or something unique just for yourself. With my mother I want to create a place that invites you in and is reminiscent of the front porch at our San Francisco home where we drank lemonade (or coffee in the fog!!) and were part of the energy of the neighborhood. Nob Hill is full of creative specialty shops, and we are thrilled to be part of the rhythm of this neighborhood.
