Enjoy a night out at the opera on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7 p.m. with two dress rehearsal passes to the Boston Lyric Opera's performance of Carmen by George Bizet. Carmen will be directed by Nicholas Muni and conducted by Keith Lockhart of the Boston Pops Orchestra.
Set in the sultry Spanish town of Seville, the story in Carmen captures the joy and heartache of a deep and abiding love between a gypsy-like factory worker and a military man.
Carmen will be performed at the Citi Performing Arts Center'sSM Shubert Theatre in Boston.
