Description

Martin Barooshian's Anthropomorphic Figure is a swirl of tans and browns, with a cameo-like medallion of a woman's profile encircled in blue.  The matted, framed 17 x 20 limited edition woodcut/intaglio is signed and numbered (2 of 15).

Born in Chelsea, MA in 1929, Martin Barooshian has lived and studied all over the world: New York, Paris, the Middle East, and India, to name a few. Barooshian's work is described as "inviting you to acquire a contemplative spirit and peer into an unpredictable world filled with life affirming surrealist fantasies and joyous abstract design." His works are in the permanent collections of numerous leading international museums.
