Description

Martin Barooshian's Frigate Birds is a swirl of oranges, surrounding a medallion of a trio of frigate birds.  The signed, matted, framed 18 x 22 woodcut/intaglio will need the embossed work repositioned behind the mat.

Born in Chelsea, MA in 1929, Martin Barooshian has lived and studied all over the world: New York, Paris, the Middle East, and India, to name a few. Barooshian's work is described as "inviting you to acquire a contemplative spirit and peer into an unpredictable world filled with life affirming surrealist fantasies and joyous abstract design." His works are in the permanent collections of numerous leading international museums.
