Float the Manistee or Au Sable River in a Classic “Longboat” with Captain Tony Petrella of Tight Loops Flyfishing.  The half-day float includes a light lunch, beverages, rods, reels and flies for one or two anglers. 

Capt. Tony's "Michigan Season" runs from mid-April to mid-November. Holder of a USCG Captain's License, Tony guides throughout northern Michigan and on the Great Lakes for trout, steelhead, salmon, bass, trophy bluegills, pike, musky, atlantic salmon and carp (which we affectionately refer to as "Great Lakes bonefish"). Cast and blast outings (a combination of trout fishing and upland bird hunting for grouse and woodcock) in the fall are one of Tony's specialties.

Teaching people how to fly fish has been a special passion of his for more than 30 years.  During that time, he’s had the pleasure of working with thousands of "students," and learned something new from every one of them!
