The History of Park Street Pizza

January 2003 - Rocky Shanower purchased Crossroads Pizza and moved the business from downtown Sugarcreek to the old Dairy Treat building located on State Route 39. Remodeled that building into a carryout and delivery pizza location with the help of family and friends. Later that year, Rocky was joined in business by his wife Courtney (Yoder) Shanower.

July 2005 - Started the Gourmet Pizza of the month program after years of trying recipes for fun and finally introduced them to the public.

Since the beginning we have always focused on the customer satisfaction. The highest quality food with the friendliest staff have always been our main goals, along with striving to give our customers a unique experience with original pizzas you can only get here! We want to stand out from the crowd with a superior experience in every way.

All ingredients are carefully chosen for flavor and quality. The tomatoes we use for our pizza sauce are the finest California tomatoes picked at the peak of the season and canned within 6 hours of being harvested. We also try to use local produce from local farmers whenever possible. This practice allows us to offer our customers the freshest and tastiest ingredients while supporting our community and local farmers. By doing this we are helping to reduce the need for produce that is shipped from halfway across the world, wasting precious fuel and creating more pollution.

October 2008- Opened our new pizza store & renamed it "Park Street Pizza" featuring dine-in option for our customers.  Officially went "green" with our business in every way possible from our recycling program to our packaging to the food that we feed our faithful customers.
