Emily Cohen started her cooking career after already graduating from Brooklyn College in 2005 with degrees in Psychology and Business. Although she worked as a PR rep after college, she realized that this was not her dream job.

She followed her passion for cooking, which led her to get a degree in Culinary Arts from the institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan in June 2006. While studying at school, she worked as a Pastry Chef for The Cleaver Company in Chelsea Market.

After perfecting her pastry skills, Emily founded the Sweet Life Caterers. Sweet Life serves the kosher community for all their culinary needs, from catering to cooking classes to personal chefing to kitchen consulting. Whether teaching at the Peppermill or catering your holiday meal, Emily's passion for cooking, baking and teaching has been realized. She has been living her dream ever since.
