Scott Akers is the Director of Instruction at The Golf Academy of Dallas.  His background includes working at two Top 100 Golf Courses and his teaching mentors include Top 100 Teacher Rick McCord and former Head Golf Professional Walker Inman.  Scott attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a Professional Golf Management Degree.  He has been a PGA Member since 2000 and has been published six times in local and regional publications.  His teaching philosophy incorporates an approach which focuses on the fundamentals from set up throughout the entire swing.  His instruction offers a complete golf experience which includes full swing, short game, putting and playing lessons.  Scott uses the TOMI putting system which provides precise information and feedback on what occurs in your putting stroke.  He has also been certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level One.
