John Force is possibly the best driver of fuel coupes in the history of the class. In 1995, Force sped his Castrol GTX Pontiac Funny Car to a record fifth NHRA Winston title, surpassing the previously held records of Don "The Snake" Prudhomme and Kenny Bernstein. At the start of this season, Force's total of 48 NHRA National-event victories placed him fourth on the all-time winners list, proof that he continues to be "the driving Force of the 90's."
