Since its opening, the Angelika New York has become the most successful and recognized arthouse in the United States. At the end of 1997, an Angelika Film Center & Café opened in Houston, TX and in 2001, another opened in Dallas, TX. In 2004, the Angelika opened its newest, state-of-the-art location in Plano, Texas.
