“Speaking in Front of a Group”

Based on the well-known Toastmasters public speaking course, this 5-week class offers an opportunity to practice and improve your public speaking skills.  Whether for speaking at a town meeting, increasing your ability with English as a second language, becoming more effective at work and in leadership roles, or just being more comfortable speaking to people on the street, this course can benefit anyone.  Learn how to improve your public speaking with the help of a supportive environment.  Get feedback about your strengths as a speaker. Drop the verbal pauses, "Ahhh..." or "Ummm...", and lose run-on sentences.  

If this scares you just a little, say to yourself what the instructor said when he first started, “This scares me just enough to have to do it!” 

Ron Dagostino has been a member of the State Street Boston Toastmasters Club since June, 2007, for which he is the club's Vice President of Education.   He has also worked at State Street Global Advisors in Boston for 13 years where he is also a Vice President as well as Senior Software Development Architect. Ron is Treasurer on the Board of Directors at the Vineyard Playhouse.
