Geraldine Brooks is an Australian-American journalist and author. In 2006, she received the Pulitzer Prize for fiction for her book, "March," an historical novel set during the U.S. Civil War. It chronicles the war experiences of the March girls' absent father in Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women." Her latest publication, "People of the Book," is a fictionalized account of the history of the Sarajevo Haggadah. She has donated six (6) signed paperback copies of this book and a meeting with your book group or special interest group.
