• Ed Kaplan is the Kevy and Hortense Kaiserman Professor in the Humanities at Brandeis University. He is particularly interested in the relationship between esthetic, ethical, and religious experience in literature and the lives and writings of religious activists and thinkers. In addition to books on French authors Michelet and Baudelaire, he is completing the first intellectual and cultural biography of Abraham Joshua Heschel. Ed is donating 3 books.
