JM Quarin begins as above and goes on to comment on the colour ("dark red, intense, beautiful"), the nose ("clean, discreet, slightly animal") and a "smooth attack, developing excellent flavour, very, very fruity and fresh.  The wine develops structure after the mid-palate, finishing on full flavours, dense, fresh, fruity, long and ripe."
