Peninsula Vascular Center offers a comprehensive, tailor-made vascular treatment program for removal of varicose veins and spider veins using the latest state-of-the-art laser technologies and other non-surgical techniques, such as sclerotherapy and broadband pulsed light treatment. The outward appearance of “varicose veins” may well underestimate the severity of the root cause of vein disease.  Therefore, our program will include an initial consultation with Douglas Lewis, MD, a board certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, and ultrasound examination to complete the diagnostic evaluation, followed by the recommended procedure(s). Dr. Lewis performs all procedures at our private practice office in Atherton and we will conduct follow-up examinations and additional related treatments at no charge for up to one year from the date of initial consultation.  Dr. Lewis trained at Yale, Harvard and Stanford Universities and has extensive experience in both clinical and academic practices.
