This exciting six hour "Voyage into History" aboard the World War II Liberty Ship John W. Brown features: continental breakfast, luncheon buffet, afternoon snacks and beverages; live big band music of the 40's; Abbott & Costello; military reenactors; FDR; barbershop music; flybys (weather permitting) of wartime aircraft, with the ship's Armed Guard gunners manning the guns to fight off attacking Axis planes. The ship is completely open for tours; including museum spaces, crew quarters, bridge, messrooms, troop berthing and much more. View the magnificent 140-ton triple-expansion steam engine as it powers the great ship through the water. Package includes tickets for two for Saturday, June 13, 2009 or Saturday, September 12, 2009.
