Description

This auction package is for an introductory one-day workshop on the craft of buckskinning--the art of making beautiful and practical items out of animal hides and pelts.  You and three of your friends will have a hands-on three-hour training session here at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center on a Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. with master craftsman Patrick L. Price, who has been creating beautiful objects from hides for almost 30 years.

In this workshop, you will be provided with the hides, sewing materials, beads and other supplies you need to design and produce a large, purse-size leather bag.  Please bring a wooden bread board or other solid flat wooden surface necessary for awling as well as any feathers, crystals, shells, or other natural items you would like to adhere to the bag.

Special Instructions

If you are the winning bidder, please contact Patrick Price, Director of Philanthropy at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, at 414-292-3065 to schedule a Sunday afternoon for the workshop.  Offer expires May 31, 2010.
