Luxurious softness and superior warmth are combined in this one and one quarter ounce, 58" x 8" inch scarf (includes fringe).  Qiviut, sometimes spelled qiviuk, is the downy undercoat of the Arctic Musk Ox. A rare and precious fiber, qiviut is nine times warmer than wool.  The scarf is an open weave with leno lace detail at each end. The color is darker than shown in the picture, a rich, deep rusty brown.  This is a one of a kind, handwoven scarf.
