If you are looking for some excitement, The Detroit Science Center has just what you need! Offering up to four theater admission passes, you have your choice of IMAX® OR Planetarium shows.  Theater admission includes general admission, so be sure to set aside time to explore the exhibits as well!

For shows that keep you on the edge of your seat, nothing beats the excitement of the 67-foot wide, four-story high IMAX® Dome Theatre! The Detroit Science Center has the only domed IMAX® theatre in Michigan and they use state-of-the-art technology to create an unforgettable cinematic experience. Each film has a running time of 45 minutes. Current choices of shows are STAR TREK, Animalopolis, Deep Sea, and Mysteries of the Great Lakes.

Discover the universe in all its wonder in The Detroit Science Center's Dassault Systèmes Planetarium, one of the finest digital planetarium projection systems in the world. Their shows put you inside the virtual universe as you fly past more than 9,000 stars, plus planets, galaxies and more on a 50-foot wide, three-story high dome. Shows are led by a live presenter and are followed by Q&A sessions. Current choices of shows are Spring Skies 2009, An Enterprising Journey, and Secret of the Cardboard Rocket.
