Her award winning books, "The Prisoner's Sword" and "Ride the West Wind" sold 50,000 copies. She performed and taught at the NSN conference in 2007 and has taught at Asilomar Reading conference.

Barbara Chamberlain was a school librarian at Bradley Elementary in Corralitos and also worked at Carmel and Monterey libraries. She enjoys connecting children to great stories, teaching storytelling, and performing to all groups."Rockin' Folktales" is the title of her CD.
