Description

This work of art will bring color and added dimension to your home! "Pointarray16" is an exuberant work of art, a monotype coated with beeswax mounted to wood panel and measuring 30 x 22 1/2 inches, this original monotype was printed in 2007 by the artist Janine Wong, and master printer James Stroud at Center Street Studio, Milton, MA. Ms. Wong is an artist, book artist, and registered architect who received her B.Arch. from Cornell University, and an MFA from the Yale School of Art. Janine Wong has exhibited nationally. Her work is in several public collections including Harnett Museum of Art, Brown University, and the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In the words of the artist: “Most of my exploration in prints has been in the medium on monotype where I focus predominately on color and process. Most of the effects I achieve are through process that involves a great deal of layering, using both varying viscosities of ink and pressures on the press.”
