Description
Generously donated by Galerie d'Orsay, located on Newbury Street, Boston. Experience the charming and evocative works of four contemporary Master painters through a collection of hand-signed editions of each artist's monograph. Included are Robert Caulfield, best-known for his quaint scenes of New England and New York; heralded mixed-media artist Patricia Nix; Bruno Zupan, whose dynamic, breath-taking European scenes defy traditional Impressionism; and ROYO, Master Spanish painter of Kings, Queens, and the soft feminine beauty of women in quiet moments.
The winning bidder will also attend Galerie d'Orsay's private Collectors' Reception to celebrate the debut of ROYO's newest collection of original paintings on November 7, 2009. During the reception, you will enjoy the rare opportunity to meet ROYO, and have your book personally signed and dedicated. You will also experience ROYO's latest works specifically created for this exclusive exhibit, beginning in November, and running through November 28, 2009.
Considered one of the top figurative painters creating work today, ROYO's masterpieces go beyond what his eyes see. He paints the emotion of the heart. Using the radiant Mediterranean colors of his Spanish homeland and capturing brilliant light, ROYO is most widely known for his distinct blend of innovation and tradition. Critics conclude: "If the artwork of Renoir were blended with that of Valencian painters, you would arrive at canvases approaching the uniqueness and impressive work of ROYO."
Collection of Hand-Signed Artist Monographs: $350.00
