The plate is almost 10 inches in diameter, and 2 inches tall. It is made of Porcelain Clay (a fine English China Clay) and is hand thrown on the potter's wheel. The plate is fired to cone 10 (2400 degrees Fahrenheit) in a gas kiln.

The plate is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. (It is best to put food in the plate, put the plate in a cool oven, and heat the food gradually. Put the plate on the table when the food is ready to serve.)
