Come stay on Dauphin Island for 4 days, 3 nights at this fantastic get-a-way home.
The "Dune House" is a 2-story, PET FRIENDLY, Creole design with two 40 ft south facing 1st and 2nd story screened porches facing the dune and one 40 foot covered front porch. There are 3 bedrooms with in-suite baths. 1 King and 1 Queen bedroom open onto the screened porches. Each screened porch has hammocks, swings and seating areas with ceiling fans. You can cook at home in this kitchen outfitted for the home cook by the owners who are "Food Network" producers of series such as "Good Eats" and "Feasting On Waves" with Alton Brown and "Cooking Thin". The porch adjacent to the kitchen has an alfresco dining area. The King bedroom features a reading nook and porch bed for outdoor sleeping.
The home is designed for year round living on a rare barrier island. Directly abutting the grand mother dune the property is waterfront with a 300 yard dune and beach buffer before the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
No traffic on the beach side of this home, just sand between you and the beach. No traffic jams and no traffic lights on this quaint & unknown fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico. We also offer porch, yard and beach seating for your family plus a charcoal grill.
Restrictions: Wed. night - Sat. night or Sat. night to Monday.

March 13 - September 11 are blacked out. Available dates excludes any holidays or special island events like Fishing Rodeos.
A minimal cleaning fee of $100 applies and if the winners want to bring a pet, a pet fee will be required of $100 per pet.
A minimum of 1 weeks notice and a maximum of 30 days notice to claim dates for stay.
Drive to Dauphin Island with a full tank of Valero gas.

Important: All winning bidders will receive an email notification of a winning bid. You will be contacted within 10 business days to determine how you will receive your item. Receipt of your item(s) will be handled by:
- Selected items will be available for pick up at the specified MDA Office no later than September 30, 2009,
- Some items will be available at donor locations as noted in the item description, and;
- If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges and insurance will apply and will be billed to your account.
