Vermont Hand-Thrown Pottery Vase

Item Number: 155
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
This vase is hand-thrown on a pottery wheel with a red stoneware clay and is adorned with the potter's hand-crafted glazes. The piece is fired in a kiln to just over 2200 degrees Fahrenheit to allow the glaze colors to mingle and create a watery surface. The vase, intended for functional use for flowers or as a piece of art that is a reflection of the natural beauty that surrounds us here in Vermont, depicts a river flowing from a mountain range across the landscape. Vase measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
