Flyway by Spencer and Sabra Field

Item Number: 241

Description
"Spencer provided the geese, and [Sabra] gave them a setting on their way south down the Conneticut River Flyway on an autumn afternoon. The Canada Goose in migration has a wordless meaning to many of us: we are abandoned by them. We are bereft. We yearn for their resurrection in the spring."
The medium is Giclee, framed 15" x15"; year 1984; archival foam core and white mats protected by plexiglass. Frame is whitewashed maple, a wood frame with a flat profile. For further information view http://www.sabrafield.com/s/f/006.html
