Have Brown-Forman Master Distiller Chris Morris come to your home and treat 10 guests to a personal bourbon tasting! You will explore the three styles of Kentucky whiskey in an hour long fun fest of whiskey lore.
Chris is responsible for the creation and maturation of Old Forester Bourbon Whisky, Early Times Kentucky Whisky, and Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
Note: As for the spelling of "whiskey" vs. "whisky," here's the story behind that. Whiskies from Scotland and Canada are spelled "whisky," while those from Ireland are spelled "whiskey."
Whiskies from the United States generally carry the "e" also, but not always. Several bourbon whiskies, including Old Forester, favor the "e-free" spelling, perhaps to suggest that fine Kentucky bourbons like Old Forester are on a par with the legendary whiskies of Scotland. We certainly wouldn't argue with that.
