A signed Pottery Rowe Platter by Louisville artist in clay, Melvin Rowe.

This 16" x 10 1/2" serving platter is microwavable, ovenproof, dishwasher safe, lead free and non-toxic. All pieces are handcrafted and formed on the potter's wheel.  All dimensions stated are average size and individual pieces will vary slightly.

The pattern is "River Mist".  Have you ever been up at dawn on the water and seen that not-quite-fog almost eire mist above the water?  Rowe has managed to capture that in glaze! Always a little different, "River Mist" has a sage green and iris blue with brown accents.  Are those bare trees or stumps in the mist?
